10 Random Questions with Catherine Bennett

  1. Tropical Island or Cabin in the Woods?

Though both have their share of bugs and other creepy crawlers, I would prefer the tropical island locale for the beach and sunshine.

  1. Coffee or tea?

Coffee with cream and sugar.

  1. Superman or Batman?

When I was young, I loved the cheesy Batman TV show (made it easy to remember how to spell “pow” and “bam”)! I also like Batman movies better than Superman’s, so I’ll go with Batman.

  1. Cook dinner or wash dishes?

In my house my husband cooks and I clean up. We have a small kitchen, so we try to stay out of each other’s way.

  1. Walking Dead or Once a Upon a Time?

I don’t watch either one, but Once Upon a Time sounds the most appealing.

  1. Snow day or spring break?

Since I dislike cold weather, spring break in a sunny climate would be best.

  1. Handwriting or typing?

Typing for most things, but I do enjoy writing (especially cursive). It’s an art form that’s beginning to disappear.

  1. Ten minutes early or twenty minutes late?

Absolutely ten minutes early. I really can’t stand to be late.

  1. Dogs or cats?

Dogs! My husband and I own two Labrador Retrievers, but we would adopt more dogs if we could.

  1. Five star resort or tent?

A five star resort that offers free massages and dessert buffet!

Book: Devon’s Choice

Life holds no surprises for Devon Murphy. Her life consists of keeping tabs on her aging Irish father, working part time at a coffee shop, and building her online graphics design business. Devon’s only tricky situation is a shallow relationship with the pampered and affluent Michael Turner, who sees her as just another woman to conquer.

Following his father’s death, Brandon’s only goal is to expand the family business and live life on his own terms. That is, until he walks into the coffee shop one snowy evening and meets the enchanting, red-haired barista behind the counter. But can Devon and Brandon’s attraction for each other be strong enough to help erase their deepest disappointments and renew their faith in God?
